HUMAN · DESIGNER · OPINIONATED REC

I'm CHRSTPHR — designer, professional vowel skipper, and someone who believes interfaces should make you feel something. Even if that something is "wait, what?"

I've spent the last decade-ish bouncing between UX/UI for actual products, brand systems with strong opinions, and weird little AI experiments where I see how far I can push the tools before they fight back.

I don't believe in "clean and minimal" as a personality. I believe in clarity, attitude, and surprise — in roughly that order. The best work is the kind people screenshot to their friends.

If you want a pixel-pusher who'll polish your dashboard into oblivion, you're in the wrong place. If you want someone who'll ask weird questions, push back on the brief, and ship something with bite — hi.

— CHRSTPHR
Currently

Designing tools that behave like collaborators, not interfaces.

Mostly AI-native UX, brand systems, and the occasional ridiculous side project.

Formerly

Lead designer, freelance gun-for-hire, recovering print purist.

Worked across SaaS, fintech, consumer apps, and at least one client who made cheese.

Never

Going to ship a generic SaaS gradient as long as I can help it.

Also never going to use "leverage synergies" un-ironically. You have my word.

Things I make
  • Maximalist UX with attitude
  • AI tools that have a personality
  • Brand systems with opinions
  • Weird sites for clever people
  • Identity that stops the scroll
Things I refuse to make
  • Beige corporate websites
  • Dashboards that look like dashboards
  • Anything called "synergy"
  • Logos shaped like infinity
  • Generic SaaS purple gradients
